    101022 - Guitar

    No previous knowledge of guitar or music necessary. The students will learn the fundamentals of guitar playing, including holding the guitar and pick, proper fret-hand finger position, sight reading, playing by ear and playing basic songs. Each student will recieve a participation award and guitar-related prizes. Fee includes a textbook and CD. Students need to bring their own guitar.

    101038 - Art for Kids

    This art class focuses on creative exploration of various observations and imagination based drawing, painting and sculpture with the freedom of individual exploration using acrylics, watercolors, ink, charcoal, graphite, oil pastels, chalk pastels, clay, paper mache, cardboard, wood scraps, wire and other materials. Paint with unusual materials like sand paint, collage and layer, plus over drawing. Students will work very large and very small. We will use canvas, watercolor paper, nice heavy duty drawing paper, cardboard and clay in a variety of fun projects. Students will be encouraged to follow their interests and experiment with the materials while starting to observe and record from observation. All new class projects each session. Come and enjoy our fun art class!

Participants must have 2 years of ballet experience and 1 year of jazz experience to register.
